Indicators:
(5, close)
(22, close)
(12, 26, 9)
Key conditions:
The strategy involves two timeframes: D1 for analysis and H4 for execution. Stop Loss is placed at the nearest local extremum. Take Profit is set at 2 to 3 times the Stop Loss. A trailing stop with a step of at least 15 to 20 points may be used to manage the trade.
BUY conditions (all conditions must be met):
On the D1 timeframe, SMA (5) is above SMA (22).
A corresponding fractal appears.
Switch to the H4 timeframe and enter a BUY trade at the opening of the next candle after the fractal.
SELL conditions (all conditions must be met):
On the D1 timeframe, SMA (5) is below SMA (22).
A corresponding fractal appears.
Switch to the H4 timeframe and enter a SELL trade at the opening of the next candle after the fractal.
Exit criteria: Exit the trade when the Stop Loss or Take Profit is hit, or when a reverse signal occurs. A trailing stop with a step of 15 to 20 points can also be used to exit the trade.
Open a chart with D1 and H4 timeframes. Apply two SMA indicators with periods of 5 and 22, both set to close prices. Add the OsMA indicator with settings (12, 26, 9).
For a BUY trade, confirm on the D1 timeframe that SMA (5) is above SMA (22) and a corresponding fractal appears. Switch to the H4 timeframe and enter the trade at the opening of the next candle after the fractal. Set the Stop Loss at the nearest local low and the Take Profit at 2 to 3 times the Stop Loss.
For a SELL trade, confirm on the D1 timeframe that SMA (5) is below SMA (22) and a corresponding fractal appears. Switch to the H4 timeframe and manage the trade similarly. Exit trades based on the specified conditions.
