Indicators:

  • (90, close)

  • (12, Typical)

  • (14) with a level of 0.002

  • (11) with levels: -15, -40, -60, -85

Key conditions:

The strategy applies to timeframes ranging from M5 to H1. Entry is allowed only after the signal bar has closed. Stop Loss is set 10 to 15 points from the opening price, and Take Profit should be at least 50 points. Avoid trading during speculative or flat market conditions, even if indicators generate a signal.

BUY conditions (all conditions must be met):

  • The price is above the SSMA (90).

  • The WPRange is below the level of -85.

  • The ATR is above 0.002.

  • The CCI reverses upward from the oversold zone (below -100).

SELL conditions (all conditions must be met):

  • The price is below the SSMA (90).

  • The WPRange is above the level of -85.

  • The ATR is above 0.002.

  • The CCI turns downward from the overbought zone (above +100).

Exit criteria: Exit the trade when the Stop Loss or Take Profit is hit, or when a reverse signal is generated.

Exercise:

Open a chart with a timeframe between M5 and H1. Apply the SSMA indicator with a period of 90 (close). Add the CCI indicator with settings (12, Typical), the ATR indicator with a period of 14 and a level of 0.002, and the WPRange indicator with levels: -15, -40, -60, and -85.

For a BUY trade, confirm that the price is above the SSMA, the WPRange is below -85, the ATR is above 0.002, and the CCI is reversing upward from the oversold zone below -100. Enter the trade after the signal bar closes, setting a Stop Loss 10 to 15 points below the opening price and a Take Profit of at least 50 points.

For a SELL trade, ensure the price is below the SSMA, the WPRange is above -85, the ATR is above 0.002, and the CCI is turning downward from the overbought zone above +100. Enter the trade after the signal bar closes and manage the trade similarly. Exit based on the specified conditions.
